Faith Formation is an integral part of parish life and there are a broad range of opportunities for young and old, prospective and ‘seasoned’ Catholics.
Children’s Religious Education – The Religious Education program strives to foster each child’s understanding of our Catholic faith and to develop his or her own personal relationship with God. All children in grades 1 through 6 attending non-parochial schools are invited to join our program. Classes are held during the school year on Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 9:45 am, between the 8:00 and 10:00 masses.
Parent Volunteers teach the Religious Education classes each week using the Pflaum Publishing curriculum. Information about the curriculum is available at http://www.pflaum.com.
Please contact Stephanie Virag, Religious Education Coordinator, for more information via email at email@example.com or via the parish office at 650-323-1755.
Confirmation– We offer a Confirmation program for children who are in 7th & 8th grade and attend non-parochial schools.

RCIA – (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). The RCIA is a time of prayer and study through which non-baptized men and woman enter the Catholic Church. It is also for those who have been baptized as Christians but are not yet Catholic and would like to be, and we invite Catholics to join us who would like to pray and learn more about our Faith. Participants in the program who are not baptized, known as catechumens, prepare to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. Baptized non-Catholics are received into full communion with the Catholic Church through Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. We welcome your participation in our RCIA program!
We are excited to be offering Symbolon in RCIA: http://www.symbolonrcia.org/.
Please contact Fr. Christopher at email@example.com or via the parish office at 650-323-1755 to learn more about RCIA programs.
Continuing Conversion – Catholics who were baptized but never received Confirmation and Eucharist can return to the Church through a process called Continuing Conversion that is completed with the reception of the sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Communion at the Easter Vigil or during the Easter Season.
Penance and Reconciliation (Confession) – Catholics who have been baptized, but have drifted from the Faith, can return through the Sacrament of Penance. Let us welcome you home!
